About Fort Tuthill Military Museum
The Fort Tuthill Military Museum is dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and sharing the rich military history of Arizona, with a particular focus on the 158th Infantry Regiment. Through engaging exhibits and educational programs, we honor the sacrifices and contributions of those who have served, inspiring future generations and fostering a deeper understanding of our nation's heritage.
Constructed in 1929 and named after General Alexander M. Tuthill, Fort Tuthill was considered one of the finest National Guard training facilities in the United States. Located three miles south of Flagstaff, Arizona.
Housed in two of Fort Tuthill's original buildings, the museum presents the appearance of a Regimental Headquarters Building of the 1940's. Exhibits trace the history of the regiment from its organization in 1865 to the 2005 organization and Afghanistan deployment of 1st Battalion 158th Infantry.
